Shadow is the oldest dog at Dakota
Wind Labradors. I bought her as a puppy in 2001. She is an excellent pheasant dog and loves to flush and retrieve
birds. She has a lot of bird sense and a great nose. If a bird is on the ground she will find it. She also
has caught and retrieved 4 live pheasants that nobody even shot. She has a soft mouth, I released the pheasants and
they flew away. She caught, out of the air, and retrieved 2 shot birds that never hit the ground. When
not hunting, all she wants to do is retrieve. She almost always has a tennis ball or something in her mouth for you
to throw. She will play fetch with my 11 year old son all day. She has raised several litters of pups
starting in 2002. Sept 2007 was her last litter of pups.
