Slash came to Dakota Wind Labradors as a puppy in October
2005 from a kennel in Miller, SD. He is a big, strong labrador with a square head and a well proportioned blocky build.
Slash is a mild tempered, very gentle labrador. Great with kids and other dogs. I have never seen any aggression from
him. He is an excellent retriever with a lot of bird sense. Very easy to control and learns commands quickly,
the easiest dog to train that I've ever had. No shock collars. I started on hand signals recently, he is picking
that up very quickly. He marks birds and dummies very well and runs strait lines. Great in heavy cover.
Excellent nose. Slash's hips are OFA certified - 'good' and is DNA profiled.
